Dude. Few matches means you are average looking. Top 20% guys get 80% of the pussy on Tinder. It's alright. You need game and the best way to learn is cold approach. Don't you like it when the girl's eyes light up and she's sees you as this golden peace of human flesh only to get the girlfriend pull her away because your wing fucked up or you messed up somewhere? It doesn't matter, you can never grow your game and have beautiful intense earth shattering experiences with women if you don't do cold approach. Practice leads to game. Nothing else matters as much.

Pretty boys have girls naturally more receptive because they are good looking. They have more chances to learn than you, all things left equal. With cold approach or you have so much more of an advantage because you will have seen so much more than your friends. Experience is king. Love the field. It is your concert hall and your practice ground, both at the same time. Imagine a Pianist who could only practice in front of an audience and only read music theory from books without being able to practice alone. He could only practice in the concert hall infront of an audience but never alone. That is basically a pick up artist. Only the pianist who wanted it badly enough and enjoyed the process and didn't care about rejection would succeed. That pianist would be very endearing because he would be putting himself on the line yet secure in himself and his value expressing himself and his soul without filter and leave the crowd to judge. He would need a couple of drinks the first couple of performances but eventually would start to love the process more and more as he got better. For the pianist if he could touch one person from the audience deeply on an emotional level, it wwoul make it all worthwhile. He would eventually fall in love the concert hall and he would feel alive only when performing and the worst thing you could do to the pianist would be to ban him from performance hall because life without true expression would not worth living for the pianist.

How many approaches have you done and what do you consider rejection? Realistically, you cannot expect a success rate (by that I mean the ration of approached to 'fucked' girls) of more than 5% unless you are extremely good looking or famous. Most likely, your success rate will be 2-3%. These numbers are after you know what you are doing. Your first ~200 approaches don't count.

You've got a quitter's attitude. Cold approach is for people with the exterior of a tank. Stop whining about it and improve your approach and methods.

It's no big secret that cold approaches are less successful than other methods, but impossible? Not even close. It just takes a certain know how.
