Giving up on the unicorn was the most difficult part of accepting TRP truths; and the most important part of my unicorn was a girl who I could talk to freely, without seeing the all too familiar eye-glazing whenever a subject wanders into 'intellectual territory'.

Of course, I've met a few bright ones, but on reflection I think they end up making worse partners because of the internal conflict between their brain and their hamster.

My question then, is where's a good level? Can we be happy with the simple minded person who's generally pleasant? Intelligence can tip the already too scary depression risk scale a little too far for my liking, but I have the horrible feeling that trying to have anything more than a plate relationship with a simple girl would leave me empty.

Can you get your kicks from your girl and your thoughts from your male peers? Is the line that easy to draw?
