I know it's not my responsibility to pick this girl up by her bootstraps, but I hate that she has low self-esteem. It literally stops her in her tracks from moving on to do anything new or productive with her life. She thinks it's too hard to try, so she doesn't. She only wants to be a housewife because she thinks its easy and because she doesn't want to learn anything new.

Do I next her? Or try to get her on a positive track?
