Is it just me or are dating sites and apps kind of depressing to look at? Every time I've made an account, a couple days later I ask myself what the fuck I'm even doing, and then promptly delete my account. This last time I tried giving Match a chance, but even a site as popular as this has a barebones template that can't even upload a photo as your profile picture. Am I missing something here? Is this really the "norm" now? I'm not experienced at all in dating, and people keep directing me to dating sites, but they all just seem so bleak. It just feels like rapid-fire rejection when you message and like a bunch of girls' profiles and get no replies. The worst is getting a bot. It's honestly demoralizing some days, and yet everyone always says it's a viable go-to option currently.
