It's probably because we don't know ourselves what we actually want until later on. I don't want clingy, needy guys - but they're romanticized. I don't want aloof guys who don't give a shit - but they're also romanticized. I like guys that are in the middle - but every girl has a different boundary.

So don't listen to us when we don't know, but then do listen when we have figured it out. How do you know when we've figured it out? You don't; we're complicated.

It's really case-by-case. I've dated women who absolutely say what they mean.

This might hold some truth when you're at school, dating young, immature girls who haven't figured themselves out.
But if you're an actual adult who dates mature, mentally stable women, this seems like a great shortcut towards abusive relationships and date rape.

Also, in another sub, I made the point that not every member of the seduction community is a sleazy PUA who manipulates women into unwanted sexual encounters. The user I replied to listened to me, went here and this was the first post he saw. Congratulations on making a great first impression...
