Is it possible to build attraction through physical touching between you too even if you all haven't talked about "making a move"?

So last week I posted on here mentioning that this girl I've been on 6 dates with asked me why I haven't made a move. If you all saw that post you'll remember that I told her that I was new to this dating thing (so is she) and that I wasn't sure if she would respond to a move in a good way. And that I didn't want her to think I'm a fuckboy. She wanted to know if I was into her that way and I assured her she did and she is okay with me making a move. I thought I ruined things by not being physical, but I guess I'm still good seeing as how we're talking and we're going on date 7 soon.

I thought that was the end of the "make a move" talk.

Few days ago though I had asked kind of a flirty question right? And as you all know when you all start flirting through text, they start flirting back. And so I guess we got into a "ask me a question" mood and then she asked me if I would be turned off if she made a move first? Told her that I would think it'll be cute. For talked about it a bit after that, just a few messages and basically she said that she's been wanting for me to make a move since our third date and that she trusts me enough to make a move now.

However, as happy as I am that I've been given the green light to get physical, is it bad that we had to talk about this? Like, I know girls like when guys are dominant and spontaneous, and I would assume they would like a guy to make a move without being told. And if they do, they build up attraction that way.

But since I was too much of a bitch to make a move and she had to tell me it's okay to do so, I feel like me touching her won't feel as special as it should be and that I'm not going to build attraction that way.

What do you all think?

EDIT: I don't think "make a move" meant sex to her. No I'm sure it didn't. She meant like hold her hand or put my arm around her or maybe even kiss her. Keep in mind she hasn't had sex (neither have I), so she's not going to want to have while we're barely dating. I'm sure to her it's a "once I'm completely comfortable and in love with you" type of thing.
