I had previously posted that I was going to push myself to do this. Rather than doing the typical club/bar/street/mall/college campus approach that I was accustomed to, I wanted to take things to a new level. So many sets have passed by just by chance while I am out shopping to restock my apartment. The point is to push my comfort zone past what it was last year and to really try and integrate game into my everyday life.

She was a 25ish year old HB8 shopping at Whole Foods. We were at the frozen section aisle. (How romantic.) I had been walking around a little bit to see set after set pass me as usual. I knew at some point I had to get over my AA about approaching at a grocery store and push my comfort zone. I had done countless approaches before this, but I felt as though it was day 1 all over again.

I was walking in the frozen foods section when I noticed HB8. I felt my AA again just like I had in the first day I ever approached. As she was walking opposite to my direction, I knew I just had to let go of my ego and really go all in. I walked up to her, told her that I thought that she was really cute and that I wanted to meet her. She was taken aback. I saw that she was flattered and became very receptive after I initiated. I was actually feeling my nerves kick in again. I shifted conversation and we talked about healthy food and what I should look out for. I said I had to go (very prematurely) and that I would like to take down her number. She gave me an excuse as to why she couldn't and we were both on our way. It was sloppy, but in the end I was extremely happy with what I had just done for the first time ever.

Things to correct

1) It's okay to approach no matter where you are, what stops you is the head games that you play with yourself. Next time be more at ease with yourself to make her feel more comfortable.

2) Do not prematurely leave, if I had stayed and made her more comfortable and tell her more about myself then this would have lead to a solid number close/instant date

3) Eye contact definitely wasn't as solid as it could be (From the nerves). Correct this next time to build attraction
