What’s good folks, semi-newbie here. I just turned 21 a couple months ago and over the past 2 years or so I’ve really come out of my shell and become more confident, outgoing, social, etc. Not a virgin, and in fact have had more than one girlfriend. With that being said though I’m definitely not the best when it comes to pickup (yet).

 

So, basically I’ve come to realize that I basically have no idea wtf I’m doing when I’m trying pickup in loud places (bars, concerts, festivals, etc.), which I feel like generally speaking are the places where a lot of pickup goes down, especially now that I’m 21. I live in a big city where almost all of the popular bars/clubs have loud music playing and are packed, to the point where it’s almost uncomfortable. The only times I’ve had any kind of luck as far as pickup goes is when I’m able to talk with the girl, and get her laughing and whatnot. I’ve found it real difficult in loud, crowded places to do that. I’ve been able to dance with a couple girls, but were kind of specific situations. The whole “let’s go talk in a quieter place” thing hasn’t really worked the few times I’ve used it, so I kind of feel stuck here. Any tips/advice?
