I would say something along the lines of "Well then you shouldnt be talking to me."

I make it very obvious when I'm interested in a woman and when I get hit with that line I tell them they should stop talking to me if that's the case. If they were really loyal to their boyfriends then they wouldnt carry on conversation with me because I tell them what I'm about and what I'm after.

You'd be surprised how many women still talk to me after I warn them of my intentions

here is what I have personally found regarding this particular shit test, just like other shit tests is that its not just the context in how she says it. Its the timing.

If a girl tells you she has a boyfriend very early on in your interaction it almost always means shes telling the truth or is lying to get you to go away.

If a girl says she has a boyfriend after flirting with you for a while and seemingly brings it up out of the blue, it means 2 things. She's either leading you on and just using you for an ego boost or she wants to smash.

Personally the actually chances of the outcome you desire are very low and if in your situation i'd casually say "ah nice" and change the subject. After doing this start the process of eliminating all emotional investment in this girl. If you smash, thats great but don't let yourself be played a fool
