I've had an open marriage for about 11 years. My wife has had one girlfriend and I have a long-term mistress, maintain two long-distance plates, and three or four ONS. Yes, it can work.

I honestly don't care and don't want to know about other guys my plates might have. My only rule is to not try to get on with my friends.

I had an open relationship with an ex for a few months. She didn't fuck anyone else (as far as I know) and I fucked a few randoms during that time.

After a bit she could not handle me fucking other women, so the "open" portion of the relationship came to an end.

Yes.. 4.5+ years and going strong. We got married last July. It's been open the entire time. It's not for everyone, but it works for me. It helped that I was very into pick-up before meeting my wife. I do just fine finding my own plates / secondary relationships.

In all other respects, it's very red pill. My wife is submissive to me and treats me like a king (or we never would have gotten married).
