My question is, how long between your initial meeting and your planned 2nd attempt?

Short FR: 2.5 years ago I was at college and met L and A. I started a study group ala Jeff Winger from Community using my singledom SMV. I had to choose between A and L (both had boyfriends) and chose L. I stole her from her boyfriend and a 2 year LTR ensued. During this time we would regularly hang out with A while I slowly backslid into beta-ness. Both L and A would shit test me in public and I would regularly fail.

Fast forward to July this year and L breaks up with me. A, who is now working abroad, sees all the cool stuff I'm doing with my life via FB, messages me and says we should catch up when she gets back here for Christmas and New Years. There is a lot of sexual innuendo in our messaging and she is now single. I'm going to bang her.

Long story short, there is always a second chance, as long as you improve your SMV significantly. In girlspeak she would describe you to her friends like "he's a totally different person".

It's possible but it's usually better to take your lumps and move on. It's easier to develop oneitis again if you try and, in fact, just by asking this shows that you still have oneitis for her.

You're asking a bunch of internet strangers if you're worthy of pursuing this girl. That tells me straight away that, no, you're not. If, in your own mind, you can't go "I'm good enough for her. No, fuck that, I'd be great for her and she'd be lucky to date me" then no, give it up. She friendzoned you before and without you being able to bring anything to the table to convince her to change her mind, she'll do it again.
