Dude I’m in the same scenario, and what I’m starting to realize is this: Fuck it. It’s that easy. If they don’t wanna talk to you they won’t. Just make sure to back off if they’re not interested. What I’ve realized is that it’s college. No one cares that much about strangers meeting each other. In fact some would say that’s the point of college. Who cares if it seems cheesy or whatever, at least you were bold enough to ask, which is more than one could say for the majority of college guys.

TLDR: Just day fuck it and do it.

You have to take a bus to the dorm I live at, getting there 10m before the bus comes gives me ample time to start hitting on whoever is there then sit with them on the way back. There's less people around the stop at that time so less social pressure and when people do start showing up we're comfortable enough to where it's not weird.

I would recommend implementing this elsewhere ie: before class starts. Also hitting on girls out shopping solo for stuff like school supplies shouldn't be hard either.

It’s college man we gotta buck up and approach. I’m broke till Monday when I get financial aid which is when I’m gonna start going hard but I still opened and got a number last week, and have talked to people this week. Today the anxiety is high so I’m not practicing approach but since I have so much downtime I have seen some blatant opportunities. A girl smiling at me, or just looking longer than average. I wish I had approached more today 😭 don’t be like me. Approach now, regret never.

If you want to talk to them you should go talk to them and see what happens. No need making it more complicated than that.

I'm the opposite; I find campus the easiest place to approach women, but can't help but feel that something seems "sleazy" about trying to pick up women at pubs, and so I don't do that often.

Honestly, campus is the easiest place to meet people, for me. Most people are eager to meet new people, and are quite happy to be approached. My success rates for numbers actually turning into dates and not flaking is higher on campus than anywhere else. In fact, I'm concerned that after I graduate, it will be very difficult to meet anybody. The number of dates I get even goes way down in the summer months when I'm off school.

Tips for approaching on campus: you don't need a "reason" to talk to her. You can go up to her and just make any old observation or compliment. It'll be clear that the reason you're talking to her is that you're interested in her, anyway, so why try to obscure that by coming up with some convenient pretense for a conversation? Literally just start talking to her, the women here will be more approachable than almost anywhere else.

If you think you are creepy or cheesy (or too fat, thin, tall, short, etc, you are. It's a self-limiting belief. If you think you can approach women on your campus and be fun and get good reactions, you can.

Besides, have a conversation before asking them to get coffee, felafel or whatever with you. It's not, "hi, wanna date?"

See if you can find Juggler's (Waye Elise) original ebook....I remember it being good for campus game. Improv classes could help too.

I had the perfect opportunity to talk to some girl today, she was all alone chilling looking over the ledge at the event going on at our campus. I bitched out and made the excuse that my class started soon and I’m still pretty bummed that I did that.

The feeling of regret from not knowing and asking ‘what if’ will always outweigh rejection even if she spits in your face. Hopefully she won’t but you know what i’m sayin.

You won’t come off as creepy if you get to know people in your class so I think that’s a good place to start before you try approaching girls around campus

Simply treat them as intelligent human beings. Open with something related to class and get a feel for their level of interest. Odds are, they want to talk to someone who's just normal and chill.

Example: *In genuine, playful tone... "Is it just me, or was that calculus homework an absolute nightmare - like even more than usual? It took me AWHILE this time..."

...Plus, that shows vulnerability and can easily lead to a study-session invite.

The most important thing is to be 100% genuine and vulnerable at all times - you won't make a memorable connection otherwise.
