I don't know. My guess is she is insecure. I've fucked insecure girls before though, usually I was very honest and said things like "well I think you're beautiful. We don't have to hook up but I'd like to." Etc.

I don't think that line disqualifies. When you disqualify you disqualify the possibility of being together (ie. Having sex).

It's more of a validation seeker. It's either you give it to her or you don't. I'd say something like "yeah, i like you, but I'm not too sure what it is" especially if it's your first time meeting
