How does one become more confident? I had a mock interview yesterday for a full college scholarshp when the first group of people who interviewed me told me that they weren't listening to a word I said, but the way I was speaking lacked confidence. I also couldn't distinguish my self from the other people they were interviewing.

Is there anything I can do to learn how to become more confident? I made a post about 5 days ago asking about social skills and I was told the same thing by you guys that I lack confidence.

So how exactly do I gain confidence? My hands also get cold and sweaty as I walk into the interview room and I feel that the handshake I give will set a bad impression for me.
