Do worry about experience or lack there of, be in the present. Write down some short term goals like ask out a random chick, or join a gym, check locally for classes you'd be open to or not, like art or cooking. Some long term goals could be take a trip or train for a marathon.

Don't rush or put a artificial time on things. Last thing you want to do is rush into marrying a stranger, making babies, then getting a divorce, this is the norm.

Take inventory on yourself (likes/dislikes) and what you want in a woman. Make it realistic and stick to it.

Check out r/niceguys and make sure your not doing any of that.

I too am pretty bad at flirting too mate. But I think we have the same issue, basically you enter the friend zone with a girl because, well you behave with her as you would with a boy friend.

I know you work in sales (so do I), but do you still have an issue with rejection? Have you ever been rejected before, like a strong no? How did it feel?

From what I gather from this sub is that you have to be more forward and not care about rejection, don't play not to lose but play to win.

Again this come from someone who is quite shit at flirting (basically I ve only dated/slept with girls that came to me, but I m working on it).

You say you have no issues building chemistry or interactions with girls.

I'm gonna take a punt and say that you actually aren't doing this at all. You might be having some light friendly chats and conversation, but I'd bet anything that you aren't building chemistry.

The reason I say this is because if you were actually doing this, you would've been on a date by now I'm certain of it.

There's plenty of material out there, but I'd say to start with generally not to be safe or boring run of the mill with your interactions with girls. Challenge them, make them laugh, ever so slightly push the boundaries and build it to a point where you feel the chemistry or a slight sexual tension. At this point you need to find some random reason to hang out and if you've been doing it properly she will make it easy for you.

In my case, the girl who I lost my virginity to, she had a thing for virgins. I think it was an ego boost for her, because guys will remember her forever.

One thing to keep in mind, if you're going to play this card, it's going to turn some people off. For instance, I've dated three girls who I later found out they were virgins, and I just couldn't do it. For me, it just seemed kinda cruel.

Basically there's a double standard for women and men:

If a woman takes a man's virginity, it's considered kinda noble, like she's doing him a favor
If a man takes a woman's virginity, it's considered that he's indebted to her now. Basically he better follow through with a commitment.

want real advice? two simple rules

1-be attractive

2-dont be unattractive

no but really, im in your same situation (28 not 31), ive asked this question for the last 5 years and apparently the only advice guys know how to say is go to the gym as if thats the answer for everyone.
