Yeah, you didn't fuck up OP. I've been on a few dates and let me tell you something... nothing is more fun and exciting than going out with a girl that WANTS to go out with you. Other guys know this as well. When a girl WANTS to see you and go out with you, it's one of the best experiences because she's invested in you to the point where she's excited about seeing you. One of the hardest pills to swallow with seduction, in my opinion, is that if a girl wants to see / talk to you, she's going to. In other words, she won't play boring games - she won't ignore you / leave you on read etc. - because she will be just as excited to talk to you as you are to her.

If I were you, I would take a deep breath, realize that how far you got was awesome, and just focus on the next one, whenever that may be (perhaps tomorrow?). You got this.

It happens. I for the fun of it would say "Oh that's fine, I didn't actually show up. I just guessed you wouldn't weren't the type of person to make a date by your personality, so I said that to see if you did. Looks like I was correct, as always"
