Tinder isn't a bad app, i see people have a bunch of success using it. It just doesn't work for me though (like most guys). First off, after 3 months i've only recieved 6 matches yet i don't even think i look half bad, i have good pictures and a decent bio. But unlike real life, tinder's extremely one-sided and you're judged based on how you look (which when you're placed next to several 10/10 guys, you don't really stand a chance)

When i look at my 6 matches compared to my friends' 250+ matches in the same time span, it gets really disheartening. I start thinking more and more often that i'm not attractive and lose confidence. But I know that's not the case, the app is completely different from reality. I also hate texting so trying to flirt with text doesn't really work for me and my matches never go anywhere.

MEANWHILE, in the past 6 months in Real Life, i approached 3 girls and slid into another girl's dm's. 2 of the 3 girls ended up giving me their snaps with one turning into my first date ever. The dm'd girl i ended up making out (first time) with for a while.

In REAL LIFE without the use of Tinder, i've made so much more progress romantically and it shows. With Tinder i've gotten nothing but nothing. There's no way i'm not attractive, but tinder's just a real confidence killer when you're not successful on it, at least for me. I hope this somewhat inspires any of you that are letting tinder determine your value, because it shouldn't.

Tl;dr Tinder absolutely kills my confidence in my attractiveness because i don't get matches. In real life i've actually gotten shit done romantically by approaching girls and with other means which actually resulted in something happening. Therefore, i'm done putting any reliance on the app to get girls.
