19 and balding, and I don’t give a fuck. A ton of the people I grew up with are bald, and I was able to conquer it by practicing self love, and every time I thought about it I did 20 push-ups, just want to remind you that you’re more then your hair if you’re going through the same thing ❤️

My buddy went bald early but he embraced it. Hit the gym started doing martial arts and shaved his head slick bald. Went from skinny balding guy to Jason Statham. His game never improved but his luck with the ladies did.

You’re centered and have a great attitude, which is pretty damn impressive for 19.

But it probably should be said that for the first time in history, it is possible to arrest male pattern baldness medically (in certain types of hair loss and certain circumstances).

Forget all the snake oil cures, but Propecia (and to a lesser degree, minoxidil-based products like Rogaine) can work for some.

So for the others in the same situation: do practice self-love, do understand that you are more than your hairline, but also consider talking to a (legitimate) doctor.

I feel like men care about baldness more than women. I don't think I've ever heard a women say no thanks cause he's bald.

I think being short, fat, poor or ugly is a bigger issue that make men more unattractive.

It honestly doesn't even look that bad. You could probably keep it just as is with rogaine or with whatever topical solutions are available right now. I doubt it would even cost more than a few dollars a month.

I'm 50 and have a full head of hair, which is only a little grey around the sides, and can easily be managed by Control GX if I so wished.

Most people who don't know my age think I'm in my 30's, the oldest anyone has guessed is early 40's and the youngest, and quite recently, someone said they thought I was in my late 20's.

This isn't just because of my hair but because I've always looked younger than what I am.

Is this down to good genetics? I don't look at it that way so why am I telling you all this?

Because despite all this I couldn't meet a woman if my life depended on it. What this means is that whether a 19 year old guy's hair is thinning or a 50 year old guy has a full head of hair is irrelevant.

It means absolutely fuck all.

I'm a girl and I can confirm this : most girls don't care about your hair. I personally love bald guys. They look cool and remind me of Agent 47. :P However, I've discussed Male pattern baldness with my sisters and female friends on many occasions and they all told me the same thing. They don't care about the receding hairline, what they don't like is baldness on the crown. They think it looks weird and that shaving everything off would look ten times better.

Are you still able to "attract chicks," while having the receding hairline?

I'm mid-to-late 30s and had hairline recession/loss for the last few years, I would say this year it's gotten pretty bad. Still, I have enough on top I tell myself to just keep it as is, it looks awkward some days (the sides of my hair grow faster, which can lead to an imbalanced look) but half the time it looks good enough.

I'm not the type who can just shave it all off, I have the wrong facial/cranial proportions for that.

Honestly don't know what to do other than just hold onto it, even as it looks awkward sometimes.
