How do I improve my conversational and humour/banter skills?

I'm more of a conversationalist when the girl I'm talking to gives me something to work with.

You and everyone else

I think lots of the time, we blame ourselves for our 'bad game' or not being able to hold a convo, but in truth, the issue is that you're trying to game a girl who simply isn't attracted to you and thus refuses too engage as she doesn't want to sort of lead you on. Talking too a brick wall, so to speak. You can't game someone who doesn't want to be gamed by you

Spend the money and the time and take an improv class.

Reading and watching YouTube isn't enough for some guys.

Hanging around with a bloke I work with who is a huge extrovert has really helped me. Made me realise I should just say what I want and have fun with people. Also talk, talk to everyone, try and give everyone you meet a small positive experience for both of you. Greet and treat everyone like you are old friends. Oh and names, learn how to remember them and try your best to remember everyone’s name.

As a massive introvert it’s something I’ve struggled with for years.

I wish I could give you expert advice but I’m still working on it, improving sharply though. The best thing I can tell you is smile and be happy, genuinely enjoy talking to people. If someone is watching you they should be unable to tell if you’ve never met someone before or you’ve known them for years. I confess don’t always feel like talking to people but I’m making the effort to do it more and having a ball.

Assuming you are an introvert it is very tough, you just have to ignore the part of your mind that assumes the worst and go balls in and say what you want.

Be a little bawdy, it helps with everyone. It’s all in the delivery and being fun.
