Was eating with my sister and her friend at a restaurant yesterday. As we were leaving I spotted the host. I commented that I liked her shoes, she said thank you and smiled. I asked her name, she said ****. I introduced myself and we shook hands. “I just wanted to say that I think you’re really cute” I said. She thanks me and I proceeded to ask if she had a bf, she said no. I said “I would love to take you out sometime, can I get your number” she said no, but in a nice way. I smiled, said no worries and left..... was I being too forward?
