Okay so basically today I was gone to the mall at a clothes store and tbh I wasn't even going to approach but I saw this woman who looked 30 and had kids with her, she was about a 5/10. Even though I felt glad I did this approach, I felt guilty and a huge amount of anxiety/embarrassment afterwards that she didnt smile or i might have creeped/weirded her out.
I was planning on originally going to do a cold approach for hotter girls a few days later, but in this instance my mind said "fuck it, I gotta get this first cold approach over with so it gets me going"
Basically I ended up chickening out two times contemplating if I should do it, I even walked past her then went back and I kinda didn't know what to say, I said "excuse me, you look very nice today" and she replied "thanks" with one of her eyebrows raised, not smiling.
So my question to you guys is, what could this mean with her eyebrows raised and her casually saying thanks? She might have been weirded or creeped out, however, I read up online and it says girls could also be doing this when they are shocked, so maybe she did not expect this which is why she said this? She took a bit of a pause and then said thanks to my compliment.
I was very glad I did this first approach even though she wasn't my type.
TLDR: (First Approach) Approached woman at clothes shop, walked around a bit contemplating whether to approach, Man'ed up and approached by saying "excuse me, you look very nice today", got response "thanks" with her eyebrow raised with no smile and unsure of what that could mean. - Felt guilty and embarrassed afterwards thinking maybe I creeped her out/weirded her out
