She was definitely interested in you. I don't know if she was directly hitting on you, but all she knew what to do or chose to do was to pert herself in a position to be able to talk to you. Maybe she was flirting, I don't know, I wasn't there, but I believe her intent was along the same lines. She was obviously talking about you with her co-workers with interest.

Hey, it is totally fine. You were able to realize it was a potential if not obvious moment that you didn't see at the time. When I think back in my life, there are so many times that I didn't catch on that a girl was interested in me. It was a mixture of, nah she was just being nice, or maybe that's just how she is, or just fear or ignorance of what or how I should reciprocate. I hurts thinking back, it really does, but I was in a different place in my life, I didn't know enough or had enough confidence or whatever at the time, and the main thing was I was caught odd guard every time and was not prepared.

What I am trying to say is, you had a great experience there, and the best you can do is just be prepared for any potential moments like that in the future. And hey, maybe you can figure out how to put yourself in more situations like that. Don't let it get to you too much, learn from it, and hey, maybe you can go back to that theater for another movie sometime, and maybe you guys will see each other again.

The back and forth of seduction has to be a give and take. One person hits on the other, the other has to be able to read it and reciprocate. These two sides of things are not always on equal levels. Maybe the other person couldnt tell, or maybe one person needs to be better at seduction and hitting on. Just think about it, one person may have interest in another person, but that other person is, not just oblivious, but they are just living life with things on their mind. Thats why seduction can be difficult sometimes because you have to being them in from the outside world into your bubble, your moment of social and seduction interaction.

Also, just food for thought, being awkward isn't always a bad thing. Itd help if you knew what to do and were not as awkward around girls, but a lot of guys are at most ages. It isnt an automatic loss, people usually understand, most of us were awkward or still awkward around the opposite sex, or even just people they dont know in general. She might hink its funny. As long as there is an attempt and you still try at it, she would probably see that and things could hit off from there.

The problem with accidently not knowing or not reciprocating, they may think you were not interested and then lose interest themeselves. That happened to me once, it really sucked, but no big deal. I dont think that is this situation at all. You were there for a movie after all. If you see her again, strike up conversation and give her your name, ask her hers. If the conversation goes well, get her number!

Your mind will constantly make excuses like "She was just being friendly." You need to work on reading body language, it's pretty damn easy to tell if a girl likes you by the way she looks at you and talks to you. If your present in the moment and not stuck in your head you just know and can feel it, trust your gut feeling. If you have a feeling she likes you than she probably does, don't ignore your intuition, if you have bad intuition practice meditation and conscious breathing.
