She didn't go to r/sex to solve her problems, she went there so other women and white knights would give her validation and tell her that her boyfriend was in the wrong. Your attempt to solve her problem is unwelcome because that isn't what anyone there is there for.

More and more things click into place everyday and I've been reading for months.
I see signs of validation seeking in everyday life that I wouldn't have seen before.

Can't remember the number to times I've gotten in trouble in real life for doing this exact thing. People used to frustrate me SO much when I showed them how simple it is to solve their problem and watch them float around to anyone with an ear and just bitch bitch bitch about it instead.
[–]improvedawg1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I've never been one to bitch, but ever since RP I've become hyperaware of people's bitching, especially when I didn't ask them about it.

Go to youtube and type in It's Not About the Nail. It sums it up perfectly.

I used to think being manly was fixing her problems rather than just pretending to listen lol. It seems the more you do for them, the less you get.

Once again, a woman tries to rationalize for cheating.
She says she exercises and could lose weight if she could, but then she says she lacks the time to go to the gym and work out. She also says she's perfectly fine and feels she doesn't need to change, but isn't she doing that? Maybe I'm looking at this wrong.

The double standards most women have when it comes to body type are as astounding as they are comical. It is not uncommon for a woman who is 30-40 lbs overweight (borderline clinically obese) to demand her man have a "muscular and toned" body.
I responded to one woman in that thread, who was shaming the boyfriend, spouting the whole "he should love you the way you are, you go grrrrrrrl, you don't have to change for him, find a man who will love you, blah blah blah...
...I simply asked her "Do you routinely date/have sex with men who are 50-70 lbs overweight?"
Which makes sense, because a 30-40 lb weight gain on a 5'5" woman would look about the same as a 50-70 lb weight gain on a 6'0" man. I thought my question was more than fair and relevant to the discussion at hand. She never responded to my simple question, and I found myself banned the next day, due mostly to my post history in TRP.
What everyone else is saying is spot-on true: 99% of women don't want a solution to their problems, they want an audience and validation of their self-deluded thoughts.

What are you crying about, exactly? "But my comment was legit and logical and wasn't offensive at all!"
So what. It's a given. It's the rules. Listen up:
Having any Red Pill in your post history will get you banned from any other subreddit the very first time you post there, independent of the content of your post.
Stating anything recognizable as Red Pill subject matter even without any Red Pill in your post history will get you banned as well.
[–]tmpjb0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Maybe the wrong place to ask, but TRP gets a lot of hate and I make it a rule of mine to see both sides. The problem is that the people who hate it don't offer anything to counter. I go on purplepilldebate and there are only two non-shaming arguments which are NAWALT and that RP isn't scientifically based. If i only believed in info that has been rigorously peer-reviewed by reputable scientists, then I would be able to function. Anyways, where can i go to see some alternative explains for womens' capricious behavior?
[–]TRP VanguardArchwinger1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
I frequent Purple Pill Debate just because it's a nice break reading something that's not a bunch of cultish teenagers circle-jerking and repeating the same Red Pill axioms over and over again. Once you've been around TRP awhile, and watched the place near 50,000 subscribers, it just gets old reading the 500th cross-post from r/relationships this week about a woman cheating on a nice upstanding guy. Women's capacity for deception and manipulation is an important message to keep drilling into our heads, but a guy needs a break from reading the same shit all day.
I also like LetsGetLaid. It presents itself as an alternative to PUA and Red Pill "tactics" for getting laid, and is a very pro-casual-sex environment. It doesn't really explore male/female behaviors or give you fun generalizations about the sexes. It's more of a how-to for people who would otherwise run like the plague from evil Red Pill thoughts about what most men and most women might, generally, respond to. You find a lot of the same advice you might give a Red Pill guy for making things work with a woman -- just worded a lot more PC, and without any of the underlying theory on why doing those things is a good approach.
Some might submit that the PUA and seduction subreddits are alternative views to TRP. Maybe mensrights, too.
[–]tmpjb0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
From what i've checked out, LetsGetLaid is pretty useless - no sidebar material either. One of the top posts is a woman giving everyone advice on casual hookups lol. PUA, RP and MR are essentially the same. They just reach the same conclusions differently. These 3 movements that form the manosphere are relatively new. Women have always been women, so why does it seem all the new info is shit that people recently come up with? I feel there has to be some refined theories on womens' behavior (not necessarily pickup) written in the past. How you deal with women is important and i still feel uncomfortable subscribing to fringe ideas. And, for the record, I've swallowed the red pill and applied game to my real life for a while now. I've had good results and the main thing lacking in this sub are experienced men looking to further up their game. Everyone is stuck on the basics like lift and be alpha that there is no room for more advanced topics like logistical discussions on the sexual marketplace or how women like different styles of men. Just observing /r/ladyboners and what i see girls choose in men it isn't a one type thing and I feel that is something that hasn't been explored much.

I find a lot of the quasi-theoretical-academic complex stuff off of reddit, on various blogs. Most people on reddit eat up the routine drama of yet-another-woman-cheats-because-man-sucks post as they regurgitate Red Pill platitudes, but lack the attention span for reading extensive theoretical posts that don't start and end with a TLDR they can respond to without having to read or think too much.
Maybe check out r/alreadyred. That sub was designed, as its name implies, for "already red" guys who want to discuss specific issues/strategies/theories without sifting through a lot of the more regular red pill subject matter. It's not as populated nor as widely used, and it doesn't really have a sidebar repository of all of the advanced theory you seem to be looking for, but some of the discussions there get a little more high brow.

I have used "This is real life, not fairy tale land" and people argued me. My favorite is when people bring up examples from TV shows and movies.

When a man becomes unattractive, it's an excuse for the woman to cheat.
When a woman becomes unattractive, it's also an excuse for her to cheat, everything is an excuse for the woman to cheat.
Welcome to /r/sex and /r/relationships.

So they're both guys? I'm confused as fuck

While I share your sense of... Unease at this woman's thought processes, does acting like a prick and making her upset, purely to make her upset, do anything for you.
I'd seriously ask yourself honestly why you engage in this type of behaviour.
Not trying to ride a moral high horse or anything but this sub is about truth seeking and self improvement right?

I understand where you're coming from. But where ever I see gluttony, lethargy, I burn the house down.
I especially hate it when its coming from women. Their self-righteousness, entitlement, I abhor it all.

I am perfectly fine with how I am and I don't feel I need to change just to please someone who is supposed to love me no matter what."
This is the one that got me. Some guy is supposed to love you no matter what, therefor you shouldn't do anything to change for him. I see the logic she's trying to use, but what I'm seeing is "He's supposed to all of this for me, so why should I have to do anything for him?"

Ha!
I told a girl this exact thing, and showed her how to use such an app. She gave up after 2 days, too much effort to spend 10 minutes monitoring her intake.
If the truth is inconvenient it is ignored.
