Don't get locked into the literal translation or wether or not Rorschach is a hero for putting his mental illness to the best use he could. The last half is the important bit. The application of the mindset quoted against the constant struggles of life is valid when feeling overwhelmed. Besides any any real warrior knows when to lay down the sword and make allies.

I'm finding that asking(internally) what the other is not going to get from me(eg. To be tied up and cummed on, or whatever) is more empowering that say asking(internally) what I am going to get from the other(eg. Is she going to kiss me, will she come back to my place, etc).

I experienced, when I took the first attitude that I stopped trying to baby the peep's I am interested in and that the people I was doing this with started vying for my attention.

I found that the more outlandish I was willing to be when(internally) asking what she is 'not going to get' the more effectively I positioned myself as desirable and a master.

TLDR; I've heard 'being the prize' and allowing myself to be chased rather than chasing are useful. Asking 'what is she not going to get' vs 'asking what I want to get.'
