Imagine you’re reading the best book in the world on how to develop your social circle, what concepts would this book contain?

Orchestrating and planning a get together of multiple individuals to build a social circle. I personally struggle with this. I know individual people, but don’t bring them together like I should. What are the best ways to do so?
Making a list of traits for the types of people you’d like to have in your circle and then based off of that list looking for events and things that might correspond with that type.
Being a good host/hostess while in public situations. This is one where I’ve noticed I could grow in. The social butterflies I know are either highly skilled at observation and positivity to the point where you can go to a club with them and within a few hours they know a bunch of strangers. It appears to be easier for women to do this but the men I know who can are never single.
Building a core group of people who get together reliably and balancing that group so it’s not all dudes.

It would be a good book to be honest. Although it needs some kind of hook to make it a must-read.

Also, I’m in South Bay if you guys are ever having new member social circle auditions hahah.

Anither important one could be : how to become the leader of your own social circle.

Basically, one of my good buddies and I moved to SF 4.5 years ago not knowing anyone. We had to jumpstart our social circle from scratch and make new friends.

pff, easy peasy, if you already have a friend with you, you can do whatever you want without stress (because at the end of the day you'll still have each other). It is essentially the reason why you magically become super-good at flirting once you actually get a girlfriend! Of course it will work better than moving to a new town absolutely by yourself. Your "book" would need to cover just one topic: "How to become able to go out solo and have fun". IMO, if you can do that, getting into social circles will be piece of cake, and even if it wasn't you still wouldn't care.

This hits so close to home for me when you talk about befriending other recent college grads/young people who are actually interesting, charming, smart, attractive, ambitious etc and not just weekend warriors trying to get hammered every weekend and maybe have one night stands or blackout. I struggle figuring out places to go to meet new people. I do BJJ, Yoga, getting my masters' degree, go to the local gym, and go out to bars/pubs on the weekends and I've met some cool people but would like to have more success. A lot of times I feel as if it does just take some time as I just moved to a new city about this time last year and have been busy, but it would be cool for some tips to expedite growing my social circle for sure.
