r/femaledatingstrategy is imho unrealistic af. I don't go there often but I've seen reposts of women wanting guys to have model-tier looks, 6 foot+ and making 6 figures at least annually.

i'd say it depends on your age, the girl's age, and your looks. If you're 20 working as a cashier is normal, and most 20 year old girls don't care about your job. But working as a cashier at 35 isn't nearly as acceptable, and women in their late 20s-30s consider job/status when looking for a potential mate. I also mentioned your looks are a factor cuz if you're ridiculously good looking, they'll probably let the "loser job" slide if we're talking hook-ups. E.g. if you looked like Chris Hemsworth I doubt you'd have trouble getting laid even if you were a janitor

My friend is a semi bum and he hooks up with Hot women frequently..women don't think logically, they go by emotions regardless of what they say here. This guy knows how to give emotions. He is very passionate and made everyone feel special around him, that is his saving grace. He had moved in with another hot woman a mere few days after him and his girl split up, he constantly had women/people coming in and out while she was at work, he was constantly making women swoon over him as I sat back in amazement..

Money doesn't have shit to do with it guys, or your job. Ever see rich miserable people? Yeah it helps to have a great job, but if you don't have any game, you ain't getting any pussy. Period.

It can be a turn off if I’m being completely honest. When a man has a well paying job/good position you immediately relate that to him being powerful, Authoritative, ambitious and generally someone who can take care of you - before anyone jumps on my ass and says women don’t need men to take care of them, I MYSELF have a good paying job and am independent as women should be but I still want a man who can take care of me -

. I mean just because a guy has all those things doesn’t mean he’s not going to be trash (a lot of the time they are and have shit personalities) but still. You tend to see these things first before you get down to personality. Guys with no job/poor prospects just seem weak with no direction in life which isn’t very attractive. I’d always try and get to know both types of men as you don’t always know someone’s circumstances and personality and how they are as a person is the most important thing.

BUT if there was a CEO in the room and someone with no career prospects, most women will pick the ceo for the reasons above and any woman who disagrees with this is just lying to herself lmao.

That being said, most successful men started off at times with a poor career or not many prospects in life but it’s that drive and ambition to turn it around which elevates their position so it’s not something that’s unattainable.

Personally, I don't judge the guy based on his current circumstances, but his character traits and the right attitude.

My ex was a guy who grew up in a poor family, had to do lousy jobs, had low prospects and was surrounded by similar people. Needless to say working and earning money made more sense than landing himself and his family into more debt by furthering his studies. However, he had the drive and ambition to he successful, he knows he wants to provide and has the hunger to progress, just doesn't really know how or had much opportunity.

The 10 years I was together with him things got better, he got exposed to more people, opportunities and worked his way up. He'd bring me on nice dates and buy me designer goods once in a while. But we'd always remind ourselves that we started from zero - cos being humble is also an important character trait.

Having achieved it, I can confirm your market value doesn't actually go up by that much.

Not sure if this is out of context here. A male friend of mine with good educational qualifications and a great job - in the past was retrenched, found another job and again retrenched. He is in his late 40s and has not had a job for a few years. So I was told. Living on his savings - which could be quite substanial I guess. He has 2 kids who are in university. He is a good man, but looks very very old now with a full head of white hair and is all bones . Life is never 'ceteris paribas' - it changes and the high earner may not retain his high position job forever.

Worked as a barista for a few years. Had no female coworker not trying to land with me. Humans strive for a high life, fun experiences and adventures. Women need to be able to let go and surrender in your near. Just as men need to be on their path.

If you are on your path you become magnetic and attractive. (not just sexually)

if you can make her open and crack up, make her feel that she is loved as she is, if you are beyond her concerns and can make her fall deep into trust and surrender. of course she will want you then.

money is just an indicator for being able to let go. nothing more. often women don't see that themselves cause they need to filter through so much of men's bs. but if you can penetrate into the need behind that they realize, too

Looks, Money, Status have their purpose to ensure a comfortable life.

However, for the sake of getting an easy lay and not looking like a mark, you're better off refraining from giving off Provider Signals like job status. Not saying you shouldn't have a high status job, but don't make it your trump card to getting laid.

The women on FDS are the type to do some digging to see what kind of monetary and status value they can get from a man. Most dudes who aren't aware of this will take the bait and laud about their Senior Engineer position at Google and talk about their Tesla.

Your objective should be to do the opposite, and embrace the "fuckboy frame", where the only value she can get on you is sexual gratification. If she see you as just some fuckboy cashier with good pipe, she's hella less likely to try to hold sex over your head to get resoueces from you.

It's more about attitude than the job/prospects, and that's something a lot of people don't understand. Women that care only about that are pretty shallow in my opinion. I guess when you're older or looking to one day support a family it would be much more important, but honestly it isn't as much of a big deal, at least to me, if the guy had a lousy job or wasn't going to college. It's more about if he was trying to better himself in his own way and whether he would be willing to help contribute any way he could.

I would say the level of ambition is everything. This guy worked for his friend from college for 5 years! I was like wow why aren’t you putting yourself out there boy. he chose to do something comfortable for 5 years and it turned me off. I would have way more respect for someone that took risks. Your friend is not ur real friend (especially if you work together) Ur friend-boss would never want to see you do better than him, he will abuse your friendship and that’s a fact!!! ! ! But it sucks being in ur 20s. I’m in my mid 20s still figuring life out and I don’t want to be judged for it. I’m just going to focus on my self because I know things will fall into place. I just think it’s sucks how guys crave the idea of fucking as many women as possible. It’s like going to an ice cream shop with 20 flavors instead of 3. The more women presented the more likely you will feel that ur missing out on all the other flavors. Sometimes though , a guy can have the sweet charm but lack ambition or motivation and if involved in a relationship how can that relationship evolve and grow if no goal is reached between both in the relationship , it's heart breaking and confusing.

High status trumps all, but can you become actor, athlete, musician that easy - probably not. Second best thing is looks, if you have it you can be homeless, broke and still pull hot chicks ( plenty of videos and articles about homeless good looking guys killing it ).

There are girls who go after status a lot more than others. This tipically happens when the woman comes form a higher income family (the family thaught her that poor people are worthless, so... Classism right there).

There are girls who do not care about this at all, even if they themselves have status. This tipically happens when a woman raised in a poor family has a good career. She knows poor people are just like normal people, because her parents, her friends, and siblings were just that, poor and normal people.

You need to find a way to look for those girls that are not so attracted to status. Build other qualities to compensate, if you are looking for a long term relationship. Education is especially important, as tipically this is the biggest difference. Women want to be able to hold an intelligent conversation, and tipically guys with status have this advantage: they went to uni and have a good career because of that. It's bad enough if they have the status advantage, do not let them have better things to talk about than you do.

Also, having a job that pays enough to live decently is enough. You do not necessarily need to be a doctor. Just do not work in a mcdonald's.

And, you can still lie. If it's for just a one night stand, give a fake occupation. They put on make up, we embellish our career.
