I was at a professional networking event over a month ago and in the last 10 minutes I got talking to this woman who was clearly into me. I gave her (and everyone else in that group of 5) my business card.

While we were waiting to get our cars back from the valet we made small talk... as her car arrived she says:

Her: (with a smile) "you know, most guys usually ask for a girls number..."

Me: (as she's walking towards her car) "you have my card, so drop me a message"

Her: (getting into her car, smiling) "Girls never make the first move... I'm afraid you missed your chance...."

Me: (cheeky smile and shrug as she drives off)

The next day she texts me: "I tried to not msg you. Does that make me weak? :)"

We messaged back and forth a few times that day but nothing came of it.

Fast forward over 1 month and I get the message this morning:

"What's the deal with you? Married? Dating someone? Or just not interested?"

I'm thinking of going with one of:

"Are you into married men..?"

"I've been busy.. lets meet for a coffee on Monday"

"Still thinking about me one month later...?"

I know this seems pretty cut and dry... however, I do have a history of shitty beta behaviour/responses when a woman shows interest. For example:

Coincidently, I actually was thinking about her last night and was going to message her to arrange a coffee date. So when I got her message this morning my actual response to her message this was ALMOST:

"Hey! I was just thinking about you yesterday! How have you been?"

Cringe!

I even typed it out but quickly deleted it when I realised what I was doing.

Help me out here, what the best response here..?

Thanks guys.
