What do you think of the intensely negative attitude towards "PUAs", cold approach, and seduction?

You know why women are confused? Because they never had to question the guy they were fucking. They simply assume it's natural. They were naturally attracted. They assume the alpha type guys they fuck are always alpha. Why? Because the notion of studying alpha is foreign and wasn't a thing until now. Women were a total "mystery".

The notion that a guy would develop himself to get a specific outcome flies in the face of women's sexual clarity. It makes it harder for them to tell the difference between beta males by birth who came up and alpha types that always were. They hate knowing someone can have that kind of power over them and boil their behavior down to a series of steps.

Simply put. They had an easy way to control men's behavior and vet for beta males who were doomed to a life of mediocrity. They're mad because it works. That's why they say good game doesn't look like anything. It's casual. Like magic. Why are you ashamed for being a man? How do you think people met before? A man had to grow balls and approach. Now there's a name to it. Don't let them stifle your manhood. Seduction is about getting what YOU want.

People associate PUA with men who are walking facades. The type of men who will only act differently in the presence of women that they want to get with, they are trying to be deceptive only to get their desires. I like to think of PUA as someone who strives to be better inside and out all the time, they aren't changing as an act, they are actually trying to improve themselves. The guy who I described as a walking facade and an actual PUA are easy to mix up because they might have overlapping goals, just that one goes about it in a different way than the other.

Sex is the only thing women have real power over. Seduction undermines that.

Because so much of what is being thrown out there as "pick up" is ugly and misogynist. The way these guys talk about women (never without at least one utterance of the b-word) makes you cringe that any woman would wind up in bed with that kind of cretin.

They make women sound like the enemy and come close to dehumanizing and objectifying them, and justifying it by saying they deserve it because they treat the "good guys" like shit.

Cold approaches can work because if a woman is out looking for a hook up, and a guy appeals to her, it's probably going to happen, but every successful cold approach you see doesn't necessarily lead to that.

Part of pickup is manipulation and even outright lying. While those aren't admirable things, that's much different than being guided by hostility and anger.

Well you are asking the most difficult and complex question first, which is in a way smart, but probably also a bit misleading for you. First about all, if you have a look at how this community developed, it really started off a bit like "faking your way into her pants" style, and actually that does leave a bitter taste in the mouth for most women.

Also, I don't know how this works out in your country, but in my country, cold approach daygame is pretty much so hard against the social norm that society would just naturally "punish" such behavior. You'd have to pick a social spot like a nightclub to be able to approach without violating the given "rules" of society and your reputation along with it.

That said, the other difficulty is that when you start out with a certain pickup style, the first difficulty you usually face, is that you go out there and kind of try wearing a "psychosocial mask" if you want so, basically a Mystery or Tyler or whatever mask. It's oftentimes so unnatural that women will be creeped out after a while, and you need to mightigate that for getting there in a way that you don't try to be someone you're not, or even moreso, try to less be someone you're not than you did before. So any seduction technique must fit your natural character, who you really are, to really work out for you. Since there is no DVD set "Pickup for CaptainFlippy", you either need to learn how to custom fit it to yourself (which means you need to put a lot of time into it), or you need to find someone who can do that for you, or help you with it, which means you need to invest a certain amount of time into finding a coach and probably someone who mentors you, and you'll also need some bucks on your side for that.

So running into tons of guys wearing a social mask and ending up creeping out women with it surely also contributed to this, and cold approach daygame and the roots in stuff like scripted game did the rest. Yet, it is possible to adapt seduction to you individually, and also there are a lot of books, say models, that teach you to be more authentic and things like that. I think that while there are still lots of people practicing this overcome stuff, we're not at the point anymore that you need to be part of that problem.

I use all the terminology which is mostly politically incorrect sounding. But what we are really doing is learning and teaching other guys to get better with women. In the very broadest sense of getting along better with ALL women from your mom, sisters, aunts, classmates, co-workers, waitresses, girlfriends, fuckbuddies, wives ... the whole gamut.

One of the best passages in The Game is where he says: learning game benefits women just as much as men, because they the benefit of having men in their lives who are emotionally mature, grounded, funny, attentive, well groomed, well dressed, sociable and good in bed. That's my take on "pickup".
