Lauren and Cameron are actually a great couple though. He's very clear in his intentions and open about how he can provide for her and how he sees her in his future. He's not wimpy at all; they clearly have a strong relationship.

i found the guys to generally be ok except for mark (he IS blind, well, he was also lied to) and the bi-guy who obviously is still insecure about it, the rest seemed fine to me

I agree, but for both genders. It was an interesting picture of relationship growing pains versus true incompatibility, especially when everyone's talking about it in the context of finding a life partner and not just casual dating (I say that with a grain of salt).

I liked that due to the pods, people didn't entertain lame connections for the sake of perceived value as much. You really had to hook someone based on shared interests rather than just banking on overall charisma to get you into the infatuation phase.

Mark was a noob. Should’ve had the cojones to walk away early on. Like come on i always try to hold the mentality of your SO’s behaviour to you should at least be on the same level of respect your friends give you.

Also that Giannina girl is a huge handful. She talks in cliches and is always searching for drama. Probably because she wants her life to be a drama. Ladies please don’t be that.

I watched this show and my first impression was that they are making a mockery of marriage. The fact that people are basically forced to get married in 40 days blows my mind. All these people were 100% not right for each other and it just upset me. Not gonna lie still finished it tho.

Also "The last man on Earth" (the comedy with Kristen schaal and will forte) is probably similar. So much cringe in that show but it's like a trainwreck.
