Recently I mentioned to a friend about how much I hated texting, how I overthought it, how I never knew if the other person was interested. He responded that it doesn’t matter what you text. It’s not going to change their mind if they like you or not.

I really like this idea. Obviously it doesn’t apply at the beginning stages of dating apps, but I feel like after the first date it generally does, unless you’re being too needy over text. What do you guys think?
