The general advice on this subreddit is when a girl flakes, move on the next one. This sound good when starting, and helps in creating an abundance mentality.

But recently, a girl who I was going out with, told me that she was interested in me ( she's dating someone else now), but I ignored her too much and she felt that" as I am not putting in efforts now, I won't put efforts in future". And my ex said something similar about not giving attention.

Now this girl I was talking to, flirting back and forth, flaked out. She asked me to meet her at 4pm. I said 3/30. She said " cool" , but 5 seconds later cancelled the date saying something important came up.

I didn't text her for 2 weeks until her birthday. She apologized for cancelling the date. We texted back and forth for few days. Until she stopped replying. She replied after 3 days. Just one message. And since last Friday she didn't reply. She has seen my stories though.

Now usually I would move on to next one. But she seemed very interested until a week back. And many Indian girls have bollywood fantasy of a guy doing grand gestures, being after her constantly. etc.

Should I text her, with some joke about forgetting to reply. What should I do to get her or HANDLE such situations in future
