After getting a girl's number, I've been struggling to know when the exact best timing is to contact her. In some instances, I have contacted within 15 minutes to setup a date and it worked. On other occasions I've waited three days to contact her to setup a date, and that also worked.

My experience has produced mixed results, and I'm curious to know what you guys think. On the one hand, texting her sooner is a good idea to keep the momentum going, but it can also backfire because it seems a bit needy. On the other hand, waiting a couple days shows a sense of indifference and that you're a busy guy, but it seems to emotional high a woman exhibits fades after a few days.

I'm hoping someone can shed some light on this little conundrum I'm having. What do you think is the better approach: sooner or later?
