1: yes it’s a bullshit excuse. Pretty general rule is if she’s says “I’m not fucking you tonight” or any variation, there’s a good chance she will indeed fuck you.

2: she sees you as a player, wants to fuck you but doesn’t want to be seen as a slut by you, friends or herself.

If you want to fuck her I’d advise you run softer more comfort based game. When she says youre a player and she’s just another notch, respond with something innocent but that has plausible deniability to the other side.

Example: “I’d just be another notch” -“You’d be the only notch I want” “You’re a player” -“Are my magical charms not working on you” said in a sarcastic tone

This type of banter gives her comfort but still lets her know you’re not desperate, you get yours.

The point is to be less casanova and more funny-hot friend I’d be down to fuck.

Since she’s your friend though I advise just scrapping this idea and using her to meet and fuck her hot friends

Theres nothing wrong with being seen as a player/womanizer. Many women will view it as a challenge and try to "tame" you. Also gives you alot of social proof and preselection that helps.

and then leave her alone unless she makes the first move. she wouldnt tell you that and stil lcontinue hanging out unless she actually wants to hook up, but is afraid for whatever reason. If you back off completely, you will force her to either choose between letting go of her bullshit ego, or losing you forever. Guess which one she'll choose.
