It’s a shit test, and you failed. She was indirectly inviting you by letting you know she is out partying and asking you if you’re free (by asking if you’re still busy). If you responded with a one word answer “no” then gg convo is instantly dry af. She clearly texted you in a playful/flirty manner. You should’ve responded in the same tone.

Def a shit test to see howd you respond. If she wanted you there she wouldnt send you pics of it imo. But that would depend on how old you are id say and the pics in question. Best way to handle that id say depends on her tone. Id say if she wanted you there shed outright ask you not throw a bait and not invite you.

Tbh itd be kinda wierd to go to that party if shes already there id say play it based on the fact youre not going. Ergo you need to respond in a way that youre not interested. Since she might be gauging how important she is to you how much of a life you have outside of her stroking her own ego by playing games etc.

I'ld suggest that if feel like going then say so... smth like "I'm off the meeting and ready to join you". If she's into you she'll have you, if she's just playing you it will show. Beating around the bush only makes the conversation die out eventually.

Bro you just texted like a girl with a girl. Don't write implicite texts bc you except or try to move her to lead the conversation to where you desire it to be. It is her job to implicitely put out her intend (without coming off as slutty etc.) and yours to DIRECTLY lead the convo where you both want it. This time you let your whole insecurietes shine through instead. The next time you feel these kind of insecurietes rising up in you, step back, keep her on read, take a deep breath or meditate or do something that boosts your confidence or brings you in some kind of more positive state. Or simply wait until you're in a better mood. Time is your friend.

As soon as you are in a state again, where your insecurities can't affect you that much, you will be able to see through her shittests and respond accordingly instead of overthinking stuff and circling around in your own head which would simply result in awkward texts like this, that will just leave you with a bitter feeling of "wtf went through my head in that particular moment??".

I dunno about this “testing” bullshit but to be honest my friends pulled off this bitchy behavior before by pretending to have a party and not inviting that person and just leading them on just to get a reaction..

Seemed funny at the time because and I went along with it but I realized later it’s a real shitty thing to do. They were all insecure deep down.

When you said you're not busy, you should've let her speak. If she wanted to invite you, she would've done so. Otherwise leave it at that.
