The question itself is quite simple while the answer might me not.

Hot do I have an interesting/engaging conversation with the other sex/gender? After the introduction when the normal chat begins questions about hobbies fields of interests and job etc are asked and answered this can be very short lived if the other person doesn't rly puts effort into it. While this type of convo can take quite a while spanning up to multiple days if both parties are interested and seek deeper into the details and answers. But even then after a few days in the very best case this : * how are you * what you do for a living * what are your hobbies * how do you handle corona * interests etc.

Is sucked dry. So now my question is what are the best approaches that lead to an engaged conversation. I am not asking for manipulative stuff where you have to pretend to be something you ain't. I think this could help many ppl out there. I want to have engaging conversations both parties can fully enjoy without worrying "shit now I have to write this and that to keep her/him hooked"

Of course this goes with the assumption that there are not too many correlations in hobbies, because than you have something you can most likely talk endlessly about.
