That's...bullshit.

All of those are healthy traits. Like any healthy trait, they can cross over into unhealthy expressions. Confidence is great, but arrogance is not. So it's a common rhetorical device that if you want to be arrogant and not be called out on it, you say something like "God, everyone says be confident and here I am doing it, but you're giving me shit". That ignores the fact that you went right past confidence and into being a dipshit, and it's the dipshit part people take issue with.

That's the same logic here. No one has a problem spoiling a partner, having standards, finding hot people hot, advocating for yourself. That's nonsense. There are toxic iterations of all of that that I would take issue with. It's all about execution, specifics. The devil is in the details. You want to be spoiled? Me too. My partner and I do really kind things, plan surprises for each other, on the regular. It's really nice. If your version of being spoiled is toxic, however, expect me not to participate. You want one-sided sex on command, to control the finances, and for me to clean the bathrooms by myself from now until forever? No, thanks. I'll pass. There are healthy and unhealthy ways we can ask to be spoiled, we can set the bar for that in good and bad ways, and that'll generally dictate how people receive that request. The same goes for the rest of that list. Generally speaking, if you're getting feedback that these things are a problem it's worth looking at your specific implementation, not the broader picture of gender and sex. If multiple, non-crazy people tell you that your standards suck, then maybe there's something to it. Hiding behind "Men aren't allowed to have standards" is just a way to dodge having to deal with the central problem because you're too scared to face it.

Well for starters, anyone who talks about women by referring to them as “females” always raises red flags for me.

Secondly, I think it’s dumb to generalize women in general in the same way it’s dumb to generalize men in general. There are plenty of women, dare I say the majority in the real world lmfao, who aren’t “repulsed” by any of the things this dude listed. I guarantee this guy only saw a handful, or maybe even just one woman being an asshole, and is using that as a way to vent frustration. This brings me to my next point.

Thirdly, I’ve never heard of this sub but I already know it’s an incel community. “Misery loves misery” and all that.

It just seems like they are complaining about individual bad dating experiences and then made a bunch of assumptions about an entire gender group. I have seen women do this too but I don’t think it does them any favors. The bottom line is that dating can be difficult and it takes time to meet people. It also requires some emotional intelligence and maturity to be compatible with nice people. The nice women they are looking for might be turned off by all of the prejudice and resentment that pours from their pores. I think it can also be difficult for women to find nice men to date if they are approaching men with those types of resentment and prejudice.
