Met for a first date few weeks ago. Went really well. Sparks were flying. Made out a few times that evening.

Then a week or so of texting and light flirting, including one evening where she was drunk and almost invited me to her place over text (but decided against it last minute).

Second date didn’t go so well. We both had a great time but I didn’t escalate sexually or physically, was just enjoying the conversation and letting things flow naturally. Small kiss good night and we went our separate ways. Plus the logistics weren’t great at all (won’t go into detail).

Next day she messaged me saying that she felt like we were out as friends rather than a “datey vibe” and that she got the same feeling from me too hence she was a little confused.

I said fair enough I was just having a good time but that Im definitely attracted to her and that we should go out for a third time to see if there’s something more than just friendship there, given that the first date went so well.

She seems unsure and says that the second date felt so friendly and platonic that she is finding it difficult to get back into feeling flirty / romantic. She said it’s hard to explain in words and it’s “a feeling” (classic women thing to say of course).

She also says “it’s not a no” to a third date but that she’s not sure yet.

Few days later I post a sunset picture on my insta story and she says “amazing photo, I wouldn’t complain if you sent me that 👀”.

I reply jokingly “will send you sunset pics once you’re out the friendzone ;)”, to which she says “haha, are you sure I’m the one in there pal?”.

How do I play it from here?

Back off and disengage, or continue to maintain a flirty stance and try and get her out on a third date?
