Been on two dates with a girl. In all of my past relationships extremely quickly in it got to a point where the woman was so addicted to me that they constantly were reaching out to me via text several times a day every day. I’ve been on two dates with this interesting girl that has my interest. The dates have gone great. She gives me her undivided attention when we are together. She asks questions about me, my past. She compliments me. We were drinking wine and she made a comment about when toasting we have to lock eyes. We’ve been physical on the dates as far as escalations from simple touches to, to hand holding, hugging, she grabbed my ass a couple times. Our last date she couldn’t stop playing with her hair the entire date. She is independent but in a way traditional in that she wants the guy taking the lead to plan and he date, as well as all the normal actions to show that the guy is a gentleman. She has made comments several times about we should do this or we should do that. When we’ve talked she mentioned she’s looking for something serious, hookup culture disgusts her, but she also needs to really get to know me at a deeper level. The thing that throws me cause I’ve never had to happen before…. When we aren’t physically together she never initiates a text. If I initiate one 90% of the time she responds in under 15 minutes. Am I really over thinking this and maybe she is just the type that doesn’t initiate texting? It’s just not what I’m used to because in my past that hasn’t ever happened to me.
