That to me is a big waving red flag. It doesn't matter what I or anyone else does, that will not change the way that she feels. The only one who can do anything about that feeling of hers is she her self. No one but her is responsible for her own feelings and she needs to keep them in check. She's the bully who screams at the actual victim:"Look what you made me do".

I don’t like that he assumes women as a collective sexually assault/rape boys though.

I hope that’s not his genuine belief and he’s just making a point about how it’s acceptable for women to say all these things about men but not vice-versa?

Can you imagine if someone said something similar about white people that express fear of minorities or immigrants and implied they need to stop committing crimes at higher rate to make the white racists more comfortable.

Sigh. On the one hand there are the trappings of feminism, though I suppose the latter has already shed the trappings of egalitarianism by this time. On the other hand is the stereotyped feminine approach to men, common to the Left and the Right, progressives and conservatives, also actually agreed with by many men:

if I say something about you, it means you deserved it, so we're going to be judging your conduct if anything
if you say something about me, we're not going to judge my conduct or even the merit (true/false, justified/unjustified) of what you said, but only make you directly responsible for how it makes me feel or how it affects my image (presuming that I have a right to feel good about myself and enjoy a good name whether or not I deserve it, or rather I deserve it no matter how I act — my conduct doesn't matter, and it might actually be your responsibility rather than mine)
if you feel mistreated by me, that must be my legitimate response to some illegitimate way you act, so you must change your act, and I don't need to change my act
if I feel mistreated by you, you must change your act (and it doesn't matter whether you be right or wrong according to any objective criteria)
my rights are innate, your rights have to be deserved (and rank behind my rights, there's only room for your rights after my rights are fully satisfied)

Hypo-agency combined with entitlement, leading to blatant asymmetries.

It's always about how we can be allies to women but never about how they can be allies to men. I'm all for being an ally, for real, but why can't it be mutual ?

There are definitely ways in which all men can be part of the problem. Shit, I’ve been part of the problem and I’m sure there are ways where I still am. I don’t think there is a single man on planet Earth that hasn’t been part of the problem at least once (unless you’re Jesus Ben Joseph).

My problem lies when this notion escalates and goes into “all men are pedos” which someone just posted a thread of people saying that the other day. I can’t remember if it was on here or not.
