Confidence. I'm average on the attractive scale but I'm the chef at an open kitchen. Seeing me in charge must do something because with no interaction I get numbers left for me regularly

Looks. I have been in stages in life where I looked very attractive and not. Whenever you approach a girl or are just out in public, if you don’t look good nothing you say can change a women’s mind with the initial impression. She’s going to think, oh he’s ugly. And then you’re immediately out unless you got other chicks riding for you. Looks is the foot in the door. Confidence keeps you there

Both can help, but to keep women interested and to make things happen confidence is more important. Looks will help you initially in the first impression. But after that you need confidence to make things sexual, fun, stress free and to maintain interest over long periods of time with women. If women sense insecurity of any kind, you’ll lose them no matter how good-looking you are.

Both count, but in general women are the opposite of guys in the sense that they prioritize intangibles over tangibles. Your looks CAN get your foot in the door, but confidence and social skills will get you a lot more success.

This is one of those questions that has no answer .

If you are butt ugly (unkept , smelly , etc ) - confidence won’t help .

If you are pretty but act like a looser . It still won’t work .

So the answer is 50/50 or have a bit of bought .

Confidence. You can be an ugly sugar gay, and women will approve it.

But looks DO matter, you can be creepy but hot, and you'll be in demand.

The real question is - which girls. Girls are very, VERY different, and they have very, VERY different kinks. If you're a dumb arrogant f*ck, then no matter how hard you try, you won't attract a girl who is into intelligent men, but you'll be absolutely swimming in cheap whores, and if you're a coward sleazy asshole, but very hot, you'll be ignored by all but super-shallow women.

As for "initial versus later", they'll shit test you, and if you're only superficially self-confident, they'll figure it out quick.

Confidence by a mile. You need a baseline of looks which is not a chad add that to physicality and masculine behaviour and you are on to a winner.

It's about 50/50 in my view. Both matter more or less equally. Obviously it takes only a short time to see someone's looks. It takes a longer time to see their confidence. But over time, I still think it matters about 50/50 and that this doesn't change much.

But there are no direct studies on this, as far as I know. So it's anyone's guess really. Your guess is as good as mine
