Exact same thing has happened to me too. I got flamed for saying girls instead of women and half their responses called me a guy lol

The OP has been deleted, but I’ve had people call me in using the terms male and female, but I use these terms because they are accurate. All men are males and all women are in fact females.

Many examples of discrimination against adult males (men), may be of men, but the underlying discrimination at play is due to the fact they are male, not the fact they are over 18, so I think the term male is more appropriate.

One thing feminists have done well to advance their cause is to misuse language, such as misusing terms like patriarchy, oppression, etc. at the same time we see people attacked or even fired from their jobs for using language such as pronouns accurately. This is backwards. Nobody should ever have to apologize or be penalized for using terms like male and female accurately. It’s the people who misuse language for agenda reasons we should be criticizing.

Tbf, she used male as an adjective, thats a difference. Like 'a male/female scientist etc. Using it as noun (a male/female) just sounds cringy, I would never talk like this about fellow people. Biologists refer like this to animals (the male is hunting) , and maybe scientists refer like this to their [human] test subjects and thats precisely how it sounds. Like you're talking about another species. Some feminists refer to men as males and it sounds weird. Of course it also weirds out women. The only difference is that fact that the feminists find lots of mental gymnastics to why its okay to say males but not okay to say females. I would say we are above that .
