I’ve got about 10 approaches under my belt. They all went seemingly well except they were either married (didn’t notice the ring before I approached) or had boyfriends (could be lies idk).

So rookie numbers for sure. But anyways I’m at an airport rn and I thought this would be the perfect place to practice even if nothing comes of it because there’s so much foot traffic.

Idk what it is but I’m fucking paralyzed right now. I haven’t felt this nervous since before my first approach. Usually I go up confidently now and generally elicit smiles and overall positive vibes.

But idk I feel so out of place for some reason, absolutely paralyzed and I legit have no clue why.

Anyone else experienced anything like this?

Going to go try and approach rn while I still have some time. Wish me luck I don’t pussy out.

EDIT

Did two approaches, first one immediately rejected me so that’s fine.

Second girl seemed kind of shocked but wasn’t un-receptive. I told her I thought she was cute and wanted to introduce myself.

This was actually the longest I’ve ever talked to a girl who was a complete stranger so that’s a win in and of itself.

However the conversation wasn’t great, I was definitely hella nervous as again, this is the furthest I’ve gotten with a complete stranger before. It was maybe 5 minutes in total.

She asked a couple of questions about me so mild indication of interest. But overall pretty bland conversation and I definitely wasn’t at my best. I didn’t really give her any reasons as to why she’d want to see me again either. Something I’ve seen on this sub time and time again is people don’t remember conversations, they remember feelings. Definitely didn’t invoke strong enough feelings in her.

She said she was from Georgia and I said “oh that’s cool.” Just being way too agreeable in general.

Asked too many questions and didn’t make enough statements/tease her enough.

I think I tried to close too early as well without really qualifying her. Oh well, lessons learned. At least I didn’t pussy out.

Also! Hugest lesson from today. Every girl I wanted to approach I thought was bad af. Like god damn this place is crawling with babes. But once I actually started talking to the two girls and got to look at them in the eyes up close I realized while they were still cute they weren’t NEARLY as cute as I thought they were from afar.

I’m definitely building girls up way too much in my head.
