If you are living alone that little dude will always needs to come first. So if you are going out to pick up girls and going to random places after the night, you can forget that. You must leave most spontaneity in your life behind as after work as you need to be at home to take care of your dog first and foremost. Specially when they are a puppy they will need you around a lot.

But, when you are out and the lady still wants to be with you and have a bit more fun, you can just say “sorry I need to go and be with my dog, but you can come to my place too if you want” this works much better than a dry “wanna hang out at my place?”

Puppies take up A TON of your free time, and they’re a lot of work. I adopted my lab/pit mix at 3 months and it took a few months of training to get to the point where I could leave him home comfortably for a few hours.

That being said he’s a larger breed, and I’ve gotten a handful of dates meeting women at dog parks (gold mine) and regular parks.

FWIW, my girlfriend of several years and I got together because we were friends of a friend, got to talking, and I mentioned I had a pit bull. She asked for pictures (always have pictures on your phone!), and I said I usually take him for a walk after work. She asked if she could come with some time, and the rest is history

Expect to have an easier time with women who love dogs, but, like, a lot of women love dogs
