If a girl takes a long time (few hours) to reply to messages, should I be voicing my irritation or acting unphased as though I don't care at all?

Issue out of a non-issue.

If you really have time to sit around and wonder why a girl hasn't texted you back, you need to reevaluate what you are doing with your life.

For Women: Actions > Words. If she's not responding, she sees you of too low SMV compared to other/another man in her perception. Raise your SMV to prevent this from happening and wait to see if she reaches out in the future.

Don't voice frustration. This shows weak frame as it's an indicator that you're easily irritated. It could also be seen as frustration over a "failed chase", which would show her that she's worth a lot to you i.e. scarce mentality.

Forget her and let it go. If she comes back around, treat her return nonchalantly an she'll respond positively. Improve your SMV in the meantime.

There is no way to complain about her response time without looking both butthurt and thirsty. It will lower your SMV.

You are putting too much weight on this woman's engagement with you.

Disengage from her. Pursue women who are more into you.

But whining (and ANYTHING will be whining) will not help.

Non-issue. For all you know or care she's ... taking a shower, sleeping, driving, eating, spending time with girlfriends, or otherwise ... you know ... has a life?

Just wait for her to reply, then reply at your leisure. If you have a problem with being too anxious on the reply, disable text alerts so you don't even hear it (or feel it - disable vibrate) and then reply when you decide to check your phone.

Double the time it takes her to reply for your next message. Never send more than two constitutive messages. Also, stop using caps and punctuation marks (minimum investment, you're too busy to bother with that).
