I don't have any real insight into European women, but I do have an anecdote. Take from it what you will.

I was in Tokyo at a night club. It was a very busy dance floor. I turned around and accidentally got headbutted by a cute Belgian girl. I asked her to dance. We danced for a few minutes and I said "want to get out of here?"

"Hmmm..... Okay!" And away we went. The night was cluster fuck after cluster fuck.

1st. It was 4am. We drove around to three or four different hook up motels (those are a thing in Tokyo,) before we found one with a room.

2nd. There wasn't any indicator on the hotel door for the magnet. Took me like five tries to open the door.

3rd. I got stuck in the first condom. It was entirely too small. It felt like a tourniquet. I'm not particularly well endowed, and I'm not here to promote racial stereotypes, but I did learn that Japan sells different sized condoms, including I guess extra small.

3rd. It was my first time in a while. I was done immediately. We made awkward foreplay/small talk while waiting for round 2.

4th. Remember that door? Well, somehow, I had locked it with the magnet after getting it open. That isn't a thing that's possible in the US. But we were locked in. Had to call down to the desk and we managed to string together enough Japanese between the two of us to communicate what had happened and get released.

She was a delightful little gem through the whole ordeal. We're still friends on Facebook. We used to talk every so often until we both got into relationships.

She's on a date with a foreigner because she's interested in something new, so don't change yourself too much.

Europeans tend to be good conversationalists, so maybe you should read up on her interests in the French context (so for example if she is into politics it's not great if you don't know who the president of France is or think the president and prime minister are the same person, but don't use it unless it coes up naturally.

Also, swing for a home run on the first date. She doesn't have time to waste, and she's French anyway. They tend to be less secretive about liking sex so she won't be offended if you try, as long as you take a "no" or "not this time" in an adult way if that's what you get. She may be offended if you don't try.

If she is there on vacation then most likely she is looking for a good time. Be yourself, don’t be overly aggressive sexually, her body language will give away a lot more information than her words can because she is going to be conscious of what she is trying to say since she isn’t speaking her native language. Also don’t make fun of their accent, compliment it.
