So, I've finally left my wife and ready to end our marriage. I'm a little worried she'll try to take everything from me. We haven't even been married for 2 years, so I'm not sure how much leverage she has. But, basically, the house we live in was purchased by me before our marriage and is in my name. We have a lot of debt, both have credit cards in our own names and mine is about triple what she has. She doesn't have a lot of work history and doesn't make much money at, one of the many reasons I'm leaving. The car I just bought in April and she can't afford the payments, insurance, etc. She really can't afford much, and took care of electric and internet out of all of our shared expenses and bills. I think in most states (in PA) alimony is only for limited time period based on the length of marriage? Any tips from the already divorced on what to do? Neither of us can afford lawyers.
