In college, there was a couple of women who would constantly challenge men's ideas, just for the sole purpose to annoy us. If we challenged them back, they didn't have anything better to say. The title of the book just reminded me of that.

We also get the female version of the "mansplainer", giving unsolicited advice, and making sure we understand what we are suppose to do, when it's obvious everyone with common sense can do it. They really like to makeup a whole bunch of terminology, when it has nothing to do with gender; it has to do with personality and with social skills.

I think it sucks. My ego has gotten me in trouble, and I still struggle fighting with it. It's not a gendered thing to have an ego.

To me, it's saying, here's how to make a problem men are suffering with worse for your own enjoyment or personal gain.

Ego is a good thing, so like being fat, you fight with it no matter what because you'll always need food or ego. Kinda diminishes that struggle.
