Actually, girls don't outperform boys in school or behave better. They just get special treatment for the same behaviors/academic abilities or worse. They are treated like an older child's younger sibling

And they have the balls to pretend they do not know why boys and men are doing worse in education.

It all comes down to genetics. Men and women compete differently, we're not equal.

Men compete by working to be more skilled at something.

Women compete by ruining the competition with lies.

As it turns out, the 2nd strategy is far more effective.

I have sons in the schooling system and honestly, it seems to me like they are treated as dysfunctional girls. Barely tolerated. Not to mention the 80%+ female teaching staff.

I am lucky that my boys are with either good female teachers or male teachers. We had to ask them to be moved from a female teacher who was basically treating all boys as deficient girls or pushing everyone to ADHD medication.

No, they are no hyperactive, they need less screen time and not being treated like girls.

Having boys is harder, the system is hell bent on destroying them. Do your best!

Honestly my dad tried to stop me from having a computer and when I got it I used mine more than anyone. I studied. What I studied directly conflicted with my mom's, aunt's, grandma's and sisters desires about religion and circumcision. I will never circumcise a child because of what I've learned and compared. They were extremely upset that I begged them not to circumcise any boys to be moral people.

Yet women are not the problem and have nothing to do with why men are suffering

[+]NoShine1091 -3 points-2 points-1 points 1 year ago (11 children) | Copy Link

Lols pretty sure men are free to be teachers if they want to be. In fact male teachers are quite in demand... even (gasp!) privileged in the job market. But men don't want to be teachers because it's a hard job and pays like shit and isn't masculine enough.

[–]jessi387 3 points4 points5 points 1 year ago (10 children) | Copy Link

If that what you want to believe, then by all means. The reality is they face an enormous amount of discrimination, and false accusation that can destroy their lives. They also have to go through a school system where most of their own educators and peers are women, and deal with the hurdles associated with that. Plus they almost always get the problem kids by default. But feel free to ignore all of that. Ya… they just don’t want to be teachers… even though most highschool teachers and principles used to be men before the feminization of education.

The victim mentality you men are developing in this forums is moving you out into the Trumpland twilight zone - just complete denial of reality and common sense. Men on average don't aspire to be teachers, just like they don't on average aspire to be nurses. Just like women don't aspire on average to be plumbers and software engineers. How is that even debatable?

[–]jessi387 2 points3 points4 points 1 year ago (8 children) | Copy Link

And yet women get all the subsidy in the world for those professions. Men get none.

[+]NoShine1091 -2 points-1 points0 points 1 year ago (7 children) | Copy Link

"All the subsidy in the world." Bitter exaggeration does not help in argument. Please strive for facts and accuracy - it's supposedly what men do best.

Where I live there aren't enough PEOPLE who work in the trades, and so there are cheap and free programs to help ANYONE convert themselves into a plumber.

If you can find an actual program that gives a woman "all the subsidy in the world" to become a software engineer, please post a link and I will check it out.

Nope, go look up in Canada, if you’re a woman you get 30k of government subsidy and men get nothing. They are female only bottxamos for programming also, plus countless “women in tech events”

Yet I have never seen a “men in teaching event” , “ men in HR”, “ men in social work”

You might want to rethink who is the privileged gender. But you won’t. If you want to know why everyone in this sub is so upset, you may want to look around and see how little help men get, and how much women do. If you want to see it, it’s there.

Edit: forgot to mention how 90% of scholarships are reserved for women .https://misandrytoday.com/10-out-of-11-scholarships-are-reserved-for-women/

I do actually appreciate what you are saying, believe it or not. Yes, programs and organizations exist that aim to advance women industries where they are under-represented and face discrimination from men. Most of this organizations are founded and run by women in those industries.

If men want to create programs and organizations to further their interests in industries where they are underrepresented and face discrimination from women, they should do so. I understand there will be blowback...but women had to face blowback constantly as we have fought for equality. Men will have to do the same as they work to push back some of the over-correction that has undeniably occured.

You aren't going to convince me that women are, all things considered, "more privileged than men," when men still overwhelmingly hold political, economic, and cultural power across the world on the vast majority of measures...and also commit violence against women at a vastly higher rate than women do to them.

I do appreciate that men have unique problems that they feel are being ignored. And I come on forums like here to learn more about it...but honestly it's hard to feel empathetic when all I encounter is hyperbole and bitterness. Like why don't you all just get together and learn to support each other and make things better for yourselves?

[–]jessi387 2 points3 points4 points 1 year ago (1 child) | Copy Link

So I proved you wrong. Thanks for admitting it. Btw, you might want to look up, why no such organizations exist for men. Because feminists shut them down.

You may also want to look up where women got all that funding… you guessed it, from men.

That’s the only difference. Men subsidized the womens movement, and women supresss the mens movement. Can you see why people don’t have the best feelings about you these days ?? Ya, of course you don’t

[–]jessi387 2 points3 points4 points 1 year ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Btw… if you’re not here to help, just leave. There are plenty of ways for you to look up any of this stuff yourself. You don’t care to. You just want disturb us.

[+]NoShine1091 -1 points0 points1 point 1 year ago (0 children) | Copy Link

No you are right. There is nothing I can really do to help and it's hard to not just start fighting because the viewpoints exchanged here are so extreme. But I won't invade your space anymore, good luck to you 👍

Here’s another one for you, if you’re wondering why men are avoiding education.

[–]yourcarlosdanger 6 points7 points8 points 1 year ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Ok thats gender discrimination. Now do race. Oh I forgot, its forbidden to mention.

[–]_WutzInAName_ 3 points4 points5 points 1 year ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yep. There are loads of female-only scholarships and educational programs. It’s very difficult to find male-only scholarships that aren’t connected to athletics.

Years ago when male students were generally getting higher SAT scores and more of the National Merit scholarships, educators attempted to revamp and rig the test in favor of female students by adding the writing section to three math and verbal sections. That didn’t work either. Again, this was years ago, and I don’t know the current state of play.
