Men can make more money by having more skill. But as far as ease of making money online it is far easier for women, she just has to be decently attractive and she can make money without having any actual skill or putting any thought into whatever she is saying, or will have a much wider audience if she just does porn. However, some very convincingly female looking femboys that can look like an actual woman through make-up/wig and or filters rather than look like a man in drag can also take advantage of that if they can do a good girl voice or use a very convincing voice changer. And guys who essentially act as her digital pimp can make money off of online sex workers.

It is never easy to interact with any kind of market and extract value to produce cash flow for anyone.

OF is littered with women making no money and going no where - and not all of them lack in looks. If you don't know the unspoken rules, etc. ... you can disappear from the gonewild subs or any other space that helps you funnel money as a women just as well. And so on.

What women have going for them is more, different and way faster options, which has a tendency in real life to destroy them through the kind of laziness that can only come with money and quick success and eats any sustainable future growth and drive.

The looks fade, if you get high on your own nonsense you eventually think you are such hot shit that you forget your online persona is a product - in comes the political rants, pictures from your marriage, etc. ... oversharing of target audience inappropriate material and you tank.

Most of the guys that make it will have had to acquire specific skills beyond the soft skills both genders share (i.e. being presentable, being able to speak in front of an audience, etc. ...) - people forget that even people like Asmongold used to grind brutally hard in game and used to be the top of a global community (i.e. Asmongold for a time was top on certain WoW metrics like achievements), or that ninja was literally the best competitive player, etc. ... most women tend to settle on "good enough softskills" - which makes sense since the money rolls far beyond what people at that age would be used to.

Someone I work with sells pics of her feet online and claims to make good money with it. Not my thing.

I’d imagine that being a content creator is a lot like being a musician; some make it big, most barely make any money.

I’d think the market for women content creators is over saturated. I’d guess that there are far fewer male content creators.

I don’t think it’s particularly easier for either sex. Some might think women just have to be pretty but many women don’t have that pretty privilege.

Those that do might also feel frustrated they are just appreciated for their looks and not other characteristics.

Pretty privilege for women exists in a far smaller age gap. How many 50 year old female you tubers can trade off their looks.

They can do OF but then they shuts off a lot of opportunities and roles that come with far higher amounts of social currency.

Both sexes have different advantages and disadvantages with this one.

Two things can be true at once

In this cases yes its easier for women to make money from online content but ease doesn't equal most successful

Inturn its also true that some men have the most success in online content, but this doesn't mean their success was easy to obtain

Basically starting off its easier for women to build an audience but short of a pretty face laying serious skill or good personality that draws in new customers, their audience growth becomes stagnant

On the flip side audience growth for men is extremely difficult and requires them to develop a solid character that brings in new audience members so their growth doesn't stagnate

Women have much more potential because if they are attractive they can just go on Onlyfans and start making $10-20k/mo if they know how to advertise. Its a zero skill job.

i mean the woman has to be at least fairly attractive, like 7 minimum so thats maybe 30% of women who can do that, the rest cant. also they have to be ok with be oogled at least or being treated like shit (if shes doing some type of SW)
