I've been a member here for years and have infrequently shared. After almost 4 years, my divorce finally came through in March. I just sold the divorce house after being 100% responsible for all repairs and the costs while it sat unoccupied. The financial burden of paying for a house no one was living in, my rent, child suppor, and spousal maintenance had been extreme.

I finally have some breathing room financially and it's been a slow process getting to the other side, but being a part of this group and sharing and seeing the struggles of others and their support had been a quiet ally in my corner.

Knowing that there's others in my boat helped fight the perceived isolation I felt. I just wanted to take the opportunity for anyone who sees this, and say thanks for being here. I hope you get what I got out of this community and I hope we all can heal. This quiet corner was support I needed.
